Simply Amazing to just Step In And Go
Slide in, step down, GO! It is the best feeling with the LT Supermatics after 25 years of using strap in's. I got my ski patrol jacket this year and figured this would be the best gift I could give myself for making that happen. I was absolutely correct. The energy saved with these keep me on the hill longer and it's so much easier to take care of other people when taking the process of getting into and out of a binding out of the equation.
Keeping up with skiers right off the lift is no worry anymore and stepping in using a toboggan or on the side of the hill is no longer a struggle. They feel very comfortable in use and maybe slightly stiffer than my previous Missions. Having a consistent binding setting every time is a game changer. Using the lever unlock is very convenient for this very reason and keeps the strap settings every time you step out. Leads to being able to make single adjustments each time till you find exactly the ride you're looking for.
I found a couple very minor inconveniences using these bindings. Check the strap positions when you step in the first time at the hill as they may have changed when transporting the board. I just toss my stuff in my car so it's probably the biggest reason for this issue. Using the unlatch lever requires downward pressure on the heel and then releasing that heel pressure. It is much more difficult to do while toe side on the side of a hill.
Overall, best snowboarding upgrade I've made and will be happy to wear these out over the coming years. Go buy a helmet and kneepads too, you'll thank yourself!

This was exactly what my boys wanted. They can't wait to get on the mountain and just ride. No more stopping/sitting to get strapped in.
