Beautiful, but very stiff
This is a beautiful dress, but I was hoping it might trend more informal than it does. The material is very stiff (someone said they could hear me walking in it). I kept it for dressier occasions. I am 5'3 and may have it hemmed (there is a LOT of material).

versatile and flattering
I originally purchased as an option for a wedding (they asked for guests to wear black) but it's a little too structured for what I wanted. I kept it for other occasions though. It's very flattering since you can adjust the belt to your waist size and you could dress up or down. The fabric is very stiff, almost like a taffeta. It does elevate it a bit for nicer occasions but I wish it was a bit softer.

Love this dress!
the material is very structured, not flowy. I think it's absolutely beautiful. May run slightly big, but I did not size down.
