Thia yarn is lovely--just the weight,drape, and softness I wanted for a gift. The shipping was speedy and email from Alpaca Direct was timely and with good follow up. I was so happy. Unfortunately, as I purchased 2 skeins for a single project in one order with no other yarn, I expected they would come from the same dye lot. When my gift was opened, the recipient mentioned that the 2 skeins were slightly different colors. We checked dye lots and they were different. I was disappointed that Alpaca Direct would send an order like this. I also learned that, yes, I always need to check the dye lots as soon as the yarn is out of the box.
