Trying to communicate on the radio in an open cockpit gyroplane has been very difficult. I have tried active noise cancelling headphones like the BoseA 20 with a helmet and face shield. I have tried several passive noise cancelling headsets with equally poor results. I could either hear well but not broadcast clearly or broadcast clearly but not be able to hear. This is the only headset that has both. I can hear others transmitting clearly and my broadcasts are perfectly clear even in extreme wind conditions
