Yang Yin Board

Newbie but having fun

As someone in their mid 30's who had no prior board experience, I really appreciated the beginner tutorial videos to build confidence, as well as the the quality of the board. I did a lot of research ahead of time and these boards are the real deal. I've been taking baby steps, but as a taller woman (5'9") I felt surprisingly comfortable on the Yang Yin board and feel like I've been making progress quickly. I recommend adding on the safety pads (and actually wearing them ;)) for safety, as well as investing in some board maintenance items so you can lubricate the pivot cup and tighten the trucks as needed. Overall, this board is a lot of fun and I appreciate the GrlSwirl mission to make skating more accessible for girls/women. Mahalo!!
