I was disappointed because I thought the kit came with plywood fins and a nylon parachute. I have since ordered the upgrades. The der max is a great kit except for the two upgrades missing!

I knew from other comments that the fins were not acceptable and they were right. Come on, 1/8” three piece balsa? I upgraded to plywood, added rail buttons and a nylon parachute. Other than that it’s a good build. Hope to fly it at our August launch.
