Good replacement nut

I used this to replace the plastic nut on my Squier Affinity strat. It was easy to work with, shaping it with sandpaper and file went off without a hitch. The pre-cut string slots were high, but you want a bit of meat to work with so you can creep up on your ideal height. Tuning stability seems OK. In terms of tone, it’s a huge improvement. No more buzzy overtones from the old cracked nut made out of melted down disposable cutlery. The open strings ring out much more evenly now. I’m more than happy with the product and the result I was able to achieve.

Nice upgrade

Easy to sand and fit this nut. It replaced a broken plastic nut on a cheap telecaster, and has helped with tuning stability.

Very good easy to fit, true to size no need to file or sand, holding tune alot better. Great value.
