Perfect.

The book itself was beautiful, though it did have some creasing issues where the spine meets the cover, and it does not feel like it will hold up to multiple reads. And of course a special edition creasing after only opening it once is not ideal, since the main draw is aesthetic. The story began promising, however the ending did not live up to that promise. The cliches were heavy handed, and the story ultimately fell flat. The prose was beautiful at times, and I did genuinely enjoy the dialogue. With more polish as well as editing I do think this book could be something special, but ultimately it missed the mark for me.

Such a beautiful edition! Can’t wait to read it!!
