Breath taking good. The series has you gripped. Sad and true to word. I will be definitely be buying more of Michael's books. Such a heartbreaking topic.

Very emotional. Was hard to put this book down, felt like you would know the person in the story personally. Was a horrible time in history and the knowledge of how strong they were to fight to stay alive is amazing. Now reading the next book. Thank you.

Michael captures the sheer humanity, pain and other emotions of the time, with a clarity that you seldom see. It is a brief glimpse into the eyes of those living through deeply troubled times. May we never forget.
