Quokka - Men's - Charcoal & Grey

I liked the style with the added stitching on the toe box. The contrasting fabric seemed cool, too. Unfortunately, these do not fit the same as my other pairs of Gumbies. There is an absence of a molded toe box like the Brumbys. Plus extra reinforcing in the toe and a heel make them much more cramped than the slipper. You could argue that you just need to size up-which is true. But there it's more to it than that. The Velcro strap is bulky and built at a strange angle as well. It doesn't seem to add adjustability or style. While I will continue to wear these hoping they stretch, i think it might be time for a Quokka 2. Use the same molded sole and toe box of the Brumby with the boxier sewn in upper and tongue of the Quokka (no added fabric needed). Then a single or double longer thinner strap for support. Maybe even keep some elastic on both sides of the tongue like many slippers. It was a fun attempt, but tight where it should be bulky and bulky where it should be tight!
