Purchased for our own home as a trial use for my in-laws who are aging, use walking assist, and we were concerned about a rug that was too tall. We had a mat-style rug before but it was so flimsy that it was constantly bunched up and slid around all the time. We got this Porte+Hall and are using it by our back door. We have two dogs that have a doggie door that they can run in and out. Sometimes, they BOLT out... launching themselves through the door with the grip they get from the rug. This rug does not budge. It's kind of amazing. It has a low profile and, knock on wood, so far so good.

Love these rugs. Easy to keep clean/maintain. Very low pile so easy to vacuum. And easy on the eyes! Have gotten a lot of compliments on both rugs we bought.

This is a great runner - for now. Intersted to see if it frays and seperats like one a year ago.
