Excellent bike and experience with Wheel and Sprocket
I was looking for an endurance bike and had my eye on the Trek SL5. After seeing this bike and doing some research, I found no better deal anywhere. For about the price of a used SL5, this Felt VR has a drivetrain that is two grades higher and carbon wheels - similar specs to the SL7, but $3k less. My one hesitation in buying is that I wanted to put 35c tires on it, but it is only suggested to have 30s. After a little more research, I read it could handle bigger tires. I found that the Pirelli Centurato Velo Tubeless 35s measure about 34mm and had my local bike shop put them on. They fit with plenty of room to spare (maybe not UCI compliant, but that's ok). I have put about 100 miles on it and have to say it is quite impressive. It rides very smoothly, shifts like a dream, and at 18lb it gets up to speed quickly. Wheel and Sprocket are great to deal with, shipping was very fast, and customer service was great. If you were hesitating on buying this bike, you better hurry because it looks like there is only one left. So glad I got mine!

Great customer service and an amazing deal on an incredible bike
Was not looking to purchase a new bike, but somehow this bike found me. There's plenty of in depth reviews on line, so I will limit my comments to order and assembly. Once they got down to just having my size in stock and $200 discount, I made the purchase. I was traveling at the time so I had them delay shipping. Also ordered some tires which they packed neatly in bike box. Bike was delivered in 3 days to California, all good. Assembly not a problem if you have any experience. You will need a Shimano lock ring tool to mount the front wheel disc brake, and of course a torque wrench, other wise straight fwd. They even give you the Shimano tool to help attach the wires for the seatpost battery, and some carbon paste for the seat tube. All in all I'm thrilled with the bike. I did change out the stem (size issue) and cassette swap 11-34 to 11-30. This is not a club race bike, but a very relaxed super comfortable road machine. It might be able to double as a cross bike depending on the trails. You might not have the gears you need for steeper grades, although it will easily handle 35mm tires and you can run a 11-36 105 cassette. Communications and response from company was amazing. I now search their site for deals, as they are a great company to do business with. Could not be more pleased with them and this fine new bike
