Dark Desert Highway Candle

Truly a rugged candle!

I love how little this candle beats around the bush (tumbleweed?). If there's one thing I've come to really appreciate with Dio candles after purchasing six of them now, it's that you don't get the "pretty" version of some of these scents. When I saw petrichor and creosote in the scent notes, I was excited but restrained. How many times have I purchased a candle with such intense promises, only to be like "well, yeah, but mostly you don't catch those scents at all"? Too many times to reasonably want to purchase candles that advertises "earthy" unless it really lets you know what KIND of earthy, but I trusted Dio (idk, I really like how frank your marketing is and how in-depth the note descriptions are - no smarmy faux claims here!). This is a candle with a little bit of pleasant harshness wrapped in gorgeous herby layers. It's been a great companion to light during storms to battle the gloomy sleepiness.
