Great silent switches, and shipment arrived on time

Great switches - quiet with that lite tactile bump.
Garrett · January 2, 2026
My Take on the Outemu Silent Lime V3 Switches (Factory Lubed): So, I’ve been using these Outemu Silent Lime V3 tactile switches for a little while now, and honestly, I’m pretty impressed. I wanted something quiet but still tactile—something that wouldn’t annoy people around me when I’m typing late, but also had a nice little bump under my fingers. These switches nailed it. First off, they come factory lubed, which is honestly a huge time-saver. I’m not someone who loves dissecting my keyboard or messing with tiny switches for hours, so having that smoothness right away was a breath of fresh air. The keys feel smooth and the tactile bump is subtle, but it — not one of those super blunt “mushy” bumps, but a light, crisp one. It’s satisfying without being distracting. The sound is probably my favourite part — these switches are downright quiet. When I bottom out, it’s just a soft, muted thud. No loud clicks or annoying clacks. I work around other people and sometimes, late at night, want to keep things hush, and these let me do that. Compared to other “silent” switches I’ve tried, these feel much quieter and nicer. Also, I noticed the keys don’t wobble much, which helps with accuracy and just feels solid. The travel is a bit shorter than average, too, so it’s pretty responsive, which is great for gaming or fast typing. All in all, they’re just really comfortable for long hours of typing and gaming. I don’t get finger fatigue like I sometimes do on heavier switches, and because they’re quiet, I don’t have to worry about being “that guy” making too much noise. If you want a switch that’s smooth, quiet, and has that nice little tactile bump without any extra tinkering, I’d recommend giving the Outemu Silent Lime V3 a try. They check all the boxes for me.
