It's a huge amount of money for what is essentially a very simple stand with very simple electrical parts - more than twice what I have ever paid for even very nice conventional stands - so I am being much pickier than I might be for a cheaper stand. In brief, Enya make lovely instruments at reasonable prices so I expected the same from the stand, and was disappointed. On the bright side, it holds the guitar reasonably well, and it's a little easier than plugging in a USB cable for charging the instrument. However... It is really quite irritating to have to remove the strap in order for it to charge, negating a good deal of the value of not having to think about charging the guitar. It also takes up a lot of floor space and, unlike the guitar itself, is not optimized for travel in any way, so it is no use for gigging, unless you want to dismantle and reassemble it every time. It's not even especially stable - not bad, but not as solid as you'd expect for the space it takes up. It does fit the guitar like a glove, but that also means you have to be very careful to ensure it is properly seated: a millimetre off and it won't charge, and it is really easy to get that wrong. The long spindly legs on which it rests have a very different aesthetic from the guitar, not at all in keeping with the rest. This is such a missed opportunity. If it were split in the middle to cater for straps, if the charging pads were sprung so they made more consistent contact, and if the same kind of ingenious folding/dismantling and use of carbon fibre could be applied to the stand as it is to the guitar itself, this would be well worth the money. As it is, it's just OK, and very overpriced for what it is.

The stand is an amazing addition to my devices and I love how it keeps my guitar charged.
