Almave Distilled Ambar Non-Alcoholic Blue Agave Spirit

Sweet and complex if not overtly tequila-y

We really enjoyed this one when it played off a little citrus or some bubbles in a mocktail. On its own it doesn’t have an anejo character as much as it does a sort of sugar-based / rum-like vibe. But in the right proportion it still made a nice NA margarita, particularly with a bit of salt or some smoky bitters.

Not good. Tastes nothing like tequila. Smells like Robitussin.

I keep trying these, and once again it's hard to get the fullness and mouth feel without alcohol, but made a margarita with this and it wasn't bad. I will keep trying… Thanks for your efforts, so many people not drinking now!
