Textured Cable Acrylic Over the Knee

Great for long skirts

I really like these as daily wear OTKs, and have both the ivory and grey pairs. They're the perfect height for skirts that sit at or above the knee, and the elasticity and hold are quite good. At 165 cm and with medium-sized calfs and thighs, these come to my knee or just a bit below, if I've been walking/biking around a lot. No glue or garters needed. However, they don't tend to slouch more beyond this. The fabric is quite durable and the weave is subtle, but really balances out an outfit with some texture. The colors are fairly true to life; the grey socks are more of a brown-grey than a cool/slate grey. These are great for active days when you want ventilation, but a bit of a break from the wind. However, it is worth noting that after about the first 6 months- 1 year of wear, these do tend do have some issues. They tend to loose elasticity, especially at the knee and ankle, and the ivory variety stain very easily. This is convenient if you want a cream/white base sock to dye yourself (I personally turned my ivory socks into peach socks!). The sole can wear a bit slick as well. However, I really believe the durability and comfort are worth the investment.
