BEAUTIFUL socks, make sure to size up!
I got these as a gift for my partner with size 12E feet. They stretched thin to fit his foot, and he said they felt tight at the cuff. I think he can wear them, but only as dress socks since they are so thin when stretched on him. He can't wear them as work socks because of the thinness, and not comfort socks because of the thinness and cuff tightness.
This was kind of a test of sock sizing! So just so you know, if you are at the end of sock sizing, be very cautious. And if you are gifting socks, take into account their foot WIDTH as well as size! Even though he is size 12, being a wide 12 means the sock still effectively stretches to its max. And the more a sock stretches, the thinner it will fit and the sooner it can wear through!
I'm still happy with the purchase, because as a women's size 10 the socks fit me very well. So if they are not worn by him then I can still wear them!
Good to have a fallback plan if gift socks do not fit well for the gift recipient.
