Well, Im flat out amazed at how much faster 15-20% increase in speed means when you’re buried in wood over and under around 28” in diameter. I had heard all the stories re square ground chain vs round ground and then into full comp vs skip and I decided to try it myself and not rely on some you tube influencer. You tube videos only tell ya so much anyway, so I purchased a few loops and now I’m on the hunt for a simington grinder and down the rabbit hole I go. This is what I’ve needed for years now and I was just so hesitant with the need for different sharpening requirements and well a grinder in the thousands to sharpen it myself and now I don’t care about what else I have to learn to sharpen it by hand or buy the grinder. It’s gonna be worth it. It was soooooo much faster and so much less chatter it was down right pleasant all day long, both felling and processing. Ive been spoiled and Im not going back.

This chain has to be the best chain I’ve ever used. I basically only Do firewood, but I just bucked up 20 cords and it was a joy. Never had to sharpen it. Best ever, thanks
