Parimal Yatra Natural Incense Sticks - Benzoin & Copal

Excellent

Extremely sweet from the copal. The benzoin adds an earthy base to the lighter copal. This is a great idea and execution for a blend. The scents were accurate to when I've burned copal and benzoin resin, though there are earthier elements, probably woods, included that made this blend "deeper", though benzoin is a heavier sweet resin. If you are not familiar with benzoin, it's the main base note of Givenchy Pi that makes it distinct from other sweet fragrances. It's sweet but earthy, like vanilla with light brown sugar. Will be trying more of the Yatra Naturals line as I also tried the Nag Champa and liked it. I definitely recommend this scent for colder months as it adds a natural sweet warmth to the air. Outside in the late summer, it was extremely fragrant. If you like sweet blends and want something different from basic vanilla, this is an excellent bolder option. I liked burning it at the same time as Hari Darshan Copal + Cinnamon.
