Though it functions in some ways (it's stable and def holds the iPad securely), the rigidity of the angle you achieve with the grip isn't suitable for all iPad uses. In fact, it can be pretty frustrating. Also, I wasn't careful in ordering and really don't like the orange color. I bought two and would return at least one if I could.

This tablet gator grip works as promised to keep my tablet held up hands free. It holds it up both vertically and horizontally, so I can check email, follow recipes, play games, etc. without having to use one hand to hold it, or prop it up on something else. And it folds flat when not in use, so easy to store or pack to take with me wherever I go. I'm very happy with this product.
