This is one if those stupid things you absolutely don't need but absolutely must have. OK really that's not true, I had a first generation jack so these let me lower it so it's more useful under my car as I have the extension for it. I don't know what excuses I will make when I buy a set of the larger wheels it came with but since I don't have to answer to a wife it really doesn't matter.
