Best Purchase for a Hot Walk

Best purchase for our recent Larapinta hike. Used the Gossamer Gear attachment to allow the umbrella to be used hand’s free. My husband initially laughed at my purchase. But after seeing what a difference the umbrella made in the heat of the day it was a convert and we were fighting over who could use it on the trail.

Worked better than expected

I had always wondered if an umbrella was sensible (or not). The recent wet spell encouraged me to give it a try, and so far, I've been impressed with how little it gets in the way. Sure, it brushes against the occasional bush or branch in bush sections, but I became used to maneuvering it around them. The umbrella clip I bought at the same time works well, too. When clipped in, it sat over my head and pack and seemed to handle some wind without problems.

Makes me cool!

Honestly, my head is so much cooler when I hike with this umbrella rather than a hat, even my backpack is cooler! But also everyone stops me to ask where I got it from because they think it’s a fabulous idea. So buy it now before it goes out of stock.
