Simple in idea and construction but extremely practical (once figured out how it goes onto your shoulder straps)

Umbrella feels secure

Fits well onto pack strap. A little fiddley to get the umbrella in but then it sits there very securely which is great. Haven't had to use it yet on a full hike but think it'll be great

Easy to use with a bit of practice

The clamp takes a bit of getting used to. However, it holds the umbrella well once it's in the clamp. My only issue was with my pack's relatively narrow straps, but I managed to work around that.
