No major difference from the older version of balance pocket that I purchased 10 years ago.

Compact Balance Pockets

These fit my pack perfectly. Although I haven't tried them yet they are the usual high Aarn quality. Interestingly, while these are the same capacity as universal balance pockets I had before, these seem more compact, which I like. Great price and fast delivery too.

Just returned from inaugural hike using the front pockets with the Aarn. Huge difference, adding the needed volume and water/snacks access on a gruelling multi day hike in SouthwestTasmania
