Great cotton yarn

I'm using these to make hand towels, having great results working in griddle stitch.

4 ply misinformation

Sadly I ordered this product expecting the Australian standard 4 ply yarn however even though the label says it’s 4 ply it is actually at least 8 ply (recommended knitting needle size 4.5mm). The yarn is made in Canada and possibly the Canadian gauge is different to ours. However, as Knitting Co is located in Victoria Australia this should have been noticed and not advertised as 4 ply. It is totally unsuitable for the project that I bought it for and I have had to source the appropriate yarn elsewhere.
