Blade Border Putty / Charcoal Rug

This rug is dry clean only. This was not conveyed prior to or after purchase. I only found this out when there was a mark on the rug and I attempted to clean it by the usual Method of dabbing, which unfortunately caused the pile to flatten and mark! As a light coloured rug, I would have expected it to be able to be cleaned at home, therefore in a busy household, it’s not fit for purpose. I’ve had to remove it and store in my spare room. Really disappointed with the service from live rugs. The after sales customer service advisor told me not to get the rug wet. Unfortunately, with children and animals, this is impossible! I also found their response to my suggestion that a dry clean only message should be displayed on their product description condescending . Hugely disappointed. Will never buy from this company again.
