Traditional Persian Date Cake

I recently tried a traditional Persian date cake and it was absolutely delicious. The texture was soft and moist, with a rich, natural sweetness from the dates that wasn’t overpowering. It had a really comforting, homemade feel to it. The subtle spices added great depth of flavour, and it paired perfectly with a cup of tea or coffee. You can tell it’s a recipe with a lot of tradition behind it. Definitely something I’d have again simple, wholesome, and really satisfying. will order again soon
