I have followed the information regarding The Shroud since the 1980's. It is a most interesting item. The book did not reveal much new information to me, but I did enjoy reading the book. I heard previously that Jesus was resurrected through "light", and this book says "a small nuclear reaction", in either case, it is interesting that we cannot reproduce this in any way. Some things cannot be explained away, but one just need to have "hope and faith".

Great for introduction to subject matter

I think this is a great book for someone who has limited knowledge of the subject. For someone like me who has studied the matter, I didn't learn new information. That's not the fault of the author. I thought he could have done a better job on the carbon testing, how it's done, what is really being measured, etc. But then again I'm really into detail.

Well written

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Appreciated all the research he did and the way he presented it as a detective investigating a crime. I passed it on to my brother. Definite worth the read.
