SO good!

After having put some miles on the GS:TMT, when these popped up I knew I had to have a more burly, hiking focused boot for the trails in the wet PNW I'm in. Boy, did these deliver! Received them at 3pm yesterday and was on the trail by 3:30. Hiked up 3 miles and ran down the loop and straight out of the box they we as expected! A bit more narrow in the toe box than the GS, but also much more burley with the thick canvas and nubuck materials. The single front BOA dial on the tongue has a nice hugging adjustment that was comfortable and stable. Would love to see a more "outdoor" or hiking focused color way!

New soles

The second pair received have Michelin souls on them. The first release that I got in did not have Michelin souls. I would say the fit in the toolbox is a little tighter on the second pair. Trying to wear thinner socks see if they’re doable.

Exceeded my expectations

I did a 5k Ruck the first time trying the boots. The ruck was half in mud and uneven terrain. The other half was on the road. The boots have great traction and are very comfortable. The boots are light, big toe box, and very very comfortable. I'm a person that abuses their feet. I'm on my feet most of the day while working and then I go home and I abuse them some more. I've been wanting to try Speedland but was a little scared of the price. I know that you get what you pay for, but I'm also cheap. These exceeded my expectations and I will be buying more from Speedland.
