Smaller as advertised and it feels cheap

The size of the shirt is great and the quality of material that is made of feels great but the shirt is pretty short for the large size I bought and I am only 5'7". The shirt barely goes past my belt line. If it shrinks at all in the wash I will have to give to my child.
