M.S.P. Assault Pack

Good. Not great.

I ordered this hoping for it to be a bit more than what it is. I give it a 4 star rating based on one specific need I have. That is its inability to fit a 3L crux camelbak bladder. The tall skinny one, not the short wider one. I didn’t want to have to buy another bladder specifically for this pack. For the pack itself… it is very useful and accommodating for mission specific needs. I appreciate the pouches you can get for it. I order them with the pack in one shot. With the use of these removable pouches, which I have setup for TCCC, simply tearing out what you don’t need to change the pack is very convenient. From first aid to sustainment in a matter of and you’re ready to go. The convenience to attach it to the SOP chest rig is also very convenient. Again, based on mission needs. I have it separate for its own use at the moment. Now that I’m typing this out, I did think of one more reason I personally am not giving it 5 stars. The depth of the main pocket and the two external pockets. Maybe 2 inches more depth and 3 inches taller overall and BAM!!!!! Then maybe 1-2 more inches of depth for the external pockets. I mean, this I just based on my needs but, damn is it so close and still damn handy.

Loved it. Good quality it appears. I can't wait to try it in the field.

Exactly what it needs to be as a minimalist pack with hydration capabilities that attaches directly to chest rig.
