172nd Infantry Alumni

I had to get this shirt, as I was assigned to the 172nd Spt Bn, 172nd, Inf Bde at Ft. Richardson, way back in 82-83. I was told that I was the first female Post SOM in June or July of I think it was 83, but that was awhile ago, and my memory's not what it used to be. That was long before they combined the posts and switched things around. I have great memories of Ft. Richardson and the surrounding areas, so I just had to get the shirt...

Well made with 172nd Infantry logo which is hard to find. I’ve bought shirts/hats previously from 11Bravos, still have them all.

2 1/2 years flying in huyes airassault before the school. I was on the demo team for airassault in the artic. middle of July 1975 on top of Eklutna Glacier. Was my first time sleeping in a snowcave. I guess the big ? I have is should I be able to ware the badge even if I don't have orders saying so. I'm 68 years old now, seams like yesterday. Fun times, and the BEST dam guys you could ever serve with.
