It Does Fit...

For the price I can't complain, but the quality of this backer does not do justice to the rail it was designed to fit. The top surface on mine appeared looks like the metal was poured into a mold and then (mostly) ground down to a decent finish, but both ends were too low to be ground and have a rough surface with pock marks. Also the edges appear stamped/sheared but were rough enough that some filing was needed to get the backer to fit onto the rail without scratching it up. I would have been happy to pay more for something that matched the X rail's quality level.
