Great Hiking and Travel Pants

Great hiking and travel pants. I’ve had several pairs for years, not including the newest version. They appear rather simple at first glance, but are very comfortable and hold up well in wet and relatively cold conditions. Also quite durable. I especially like the fit. As someone with short legs (28” inseam) I find most other outdoor pants with a standard 30” inseam even with adjustable cuffs are still too long. These fit nicely and appear to be the most forgiving of similar pants. I last used one pair on a three week exploration trip in NW Europe in October…meaning chilly and rainy….they were great. Not waterproof or insulated, but worked well in cool-to-cold and damp conditions. Meanwhile for travel or daily activities they wear and feel like sweatpants. Also, unlike many other outdoor pants, they have back pockets which come in handy for everyday and travel use. If I could add any improvements to the current model it would be a) iPhone-size zippered pocket on the left side and b) a zipper or buttoned flap on one of the rear ones.

A cut above!

​Nothing short of outstanding. The quality and craftsmanship of these pants stood out immediately. The fit, the fabric, and the construction just feel like they’re on another level. I’ve only had mine a few days, and already I don’t want to wear anything else.

The only pants I need

​These are the one and only pant I feel comfortable enough to do everything in - relax, travel, office, climb, adventure - the fabric, silhouette, weight, flex…. it’s a perfect combo
