Skin Longevity Nighttime Oil - Anti-Aging + Firming + Brightening

An Oil...how unexpected!!!!!

I intentionally waited more than five weeks of consistent nightly use before writing this review because I wanted to give this product a fair chance to perform. I was initially very hesitant because of the price point. At over $400, this is not an impulse purchase. But I am genuinely glad I took the leap. Let me start with the experience itself. Every night, I place three drops in my palm, rub my hands together, and massage the oil into my face. I take my time with it because it feels luxurious, and I find that the warmth from my hands helps distribute the oil evenly across my skin. Surprisingly, it doesn't sit on the skin the way I expected an oil to. It feels silky. It seems to absorb beautifully and leave my skin feeling nourished rather than greasy. What surprised me most is how incredibly versatile it is. Some nights I use it on its own, and other nights I layer additional serums afterward. Either way, it blends seamlessly with everything I use. It somehow manages to feel substantial and nourishing while still playing beautifully with the rest of my skincare routine. What has surprised me even more is that I never would have believed an oil could work this well for my skin. I have rosacea and am always cautious about introducing new products. After more than five weeks of nightly use, I have not experienced a single rosacea flare-up. In fact, several friends have commented that my skin looks smoother and clearer and therefore younger. When people who see you regularly start asking what you're doing differently, you know something is working. And now for my little indulgence. After finishing my nighttime routine, I put a single extra drop on the backs of my hands and rub both backs together. It feels wonderfully rich…I honestly did not expect this side benefit, but my hands look smoother and more hydrated, and noticeably better. While everyone's skin is different, this has become one of those rare products that not only met my expectations but exceeded them. It has earned a permanent place in my routine, and for me, it has absolutely been worth every penny.

This oil has exceeded my expectations. I put some on before bed and it works throughout the night to dull redness and brighten my complexion. I will continue to use along with Rescue MD DNA repair complex.
