I purchased this Digital Caliper as a gift for my son as part of a long term plan to help him build a collection of lifetime quality tools. At 67 I have many tools given to me by my father that are as good as the day that I received them and in daily use. Buying him quality tools is a no-brainer. I have my own Insize digital Caliper in daily use (as a woodworker) that I purchased about 10 years ago and it has served me well. The new caliper I purchased for my son has been upgraded with a larger battery which is an excellent improvement on my older model. He was delighted with my gift and I know he will get years of use out of it.
