9188E Big Man Power Lift Recliner – Dual Motor, 400LBS, Lay Flat, Heat & Massage

This was bought for husband for his recovery after open heart surgery. The chair came in after he came home and had to adapt his old chair. perfect height for him and he was able to sleep without the fear of tipping over. His old recliner was a rocker. He is very happy as well as our cat who loves it just as much.

The chair is nice. The functions all work well. Shipping was fast and customer servuce has been great. My only complaints so far are the hooks to hang the remote are hard to locate while sitting in the chair which makes haning the remotes up or accessing them from the hook challenging. The pockets for storage are also so low down on the chair I cant reach them and in 5'9. The head rest itself is a full head higher than mine so i have to use a pillow under my neck while reclining as my head doesnt reach even the botrom of the headrest. I wish they made just a wide verison of this chair, not a wide and tall option. I'm wide but average height. The chair arms/ materials and padding are very stiff and ultra firm so it's not the most comfortable sitting surface. I hope that it softens up with use over time. Overall I am happy with the purchase so far.
