Classic Button Wool Mackinaw

Excellent. Is warm, well built and looks great. This is a classic, simple, good quality 28oz mackinaw with soul and character, something really hard to find these days. Green is the way to go!

Great jacket, pockets could use improvement

Really happy with my jacket. I'm 5'7", 155lbs and the small fits great. Enough room to layer a heavy wool sweater underneath. The wool is really heavy and I anticipate it lasting a long time. The pockets could use improvement. The slash hand warmer pockets have a narrow opening. I do not have large hands, and the openings are just wide enough to slip my hands into without gloves on. When I put on a pair of insulated leather work gloves, I really have to fight to get my hands into the pockets. The hand warmer pockets are also pretty shallow. The two button chest pockets are also pretty small. They're just wide enough to fit my cell phone, but not deep enough to button with my phone inside. If you're wearing the jacket to hunt or work outside, I have a hard time seeing how the chest pockets would be real functional. Easy to get things into, hard to get them out. The two lower pockets are roomy enough for a pair of gloves or a beanie. I'm happy with the jacket and hope Johnson considers this constructive feedback.

Beautiful coat! My husband was so happy to see this under the tree. He has many other red buffalo check wool coatsbut always wanted a green wool coat. He was very happy.
