EZ Plenum EZRVCD4 4"-Inch Roof Vent with Collar, Backdraft Damper, Removable Screen, 26GA Galvanized Steel, Extra Tall Profile

There was a 1/8 of an inch hole that was not sealed where the side curves to the goose neck. Person sealing this unit should have seen this and added sealant. As far as the design and construction the Miami tech GRV4XTCD vent is superior to EZ Plenum EZRVCD4 in stiffness to resist high winds and has less potential leak paths. The sides of the Miami tech GRV4XTCD form the base and are joined to the front and back panels by a slip joint. This eliminates the potential leak path in EZ Plenum EZRVCD4 between the base and the sides which are separate pieces. Having the sides and base one makes the Miami tech GRV4XTCD vent stiffer. Due to its deficiencies, I will not feel commutable installing the EZ Plenum EZRVCD4 on my customers’ roofs and will be using the Miami tech GRV4XTCD vent exclusively.
