Pedal Commander | '10 - '24 4Runner

The installation was straightforward. I followed the suggestion in Cliff’s video review for a path for the wiring and a mounting location for the control unit in my 5G 4Runner and it worked out great. I use the app to control the unit and find it very convenient. Throttle response was improved immediately. I’ve experimented with most modes and sub-settings and am currently running Sport 0 as my default. Very noticeable acceleration upgrade on inclined highway ramps — no more pedal mashing to keep up with traffic.

Wife was not impressed with the 23 TRD 4 Runner from a stop, so we installed the Pedal Commander, and it does give faster throttle response from a stop. The sport mode is really sensitive, so we run it on the city mode and found this to be the best setting for in town or traffic.
