First the racks themselves look strong and well made. The directions were not that great and the video was low rez on a phone and you couldnt really see what was going on. That said, After putting on the wrong brackets and having to switch them out to the smaller ones, I got it on. The problem arose when the brackets did not seem to seat tightly. Not all roofs are made equally, I get that, but the rubber seats slip back and forth and since the Hex tool provided stripped, there is not way, other than going out and buying a new tool to safely crank it down. and if cranking it down stripped the tool, then maybe it's at it's furthest position and will not sit correctly. So, have a set of hex wrenches handy, cause the metal used to make the provided tool is not built to secure. 2019 Kia Sorento

Exactly what I needed

After searching for days on end for a set of oem rails for an explorer, I gave up and started searching for universal crossbars. These fit the bill perfectly, at an amazing price and they lock closed with a key. Installation was easy and took about 20 minutes, getting everything assembled and lined up right on the roof. Once tightened down they dont move at all and I can rock the car with them. The one thing they forgot in the packaging was the rubber strip for the under side of the crossbars but other than that everything was present
