Leather vs Man-made

First of all, I love Alegria shoes and have worn them for over 10 years- sandals, boots, etc. I can put them on and wear l them for hours. I ordered the Shift Lead Iced Shoe as an alternative to a pair of traditional athletic shoes. Ii carefully read the description and nowhere did I find mention that these were off MAN-MADE MATERIALS!!! It mentioned some styles were vegan leather and others mesh, but not fake leather. Can’t return as they were on sale. Not at all happy! Saving Grace I guess was that it rained the first time I wore them and NO wet feet! Will call and verify material before I order again!!
