Gorgeous cuff, weak rubber band

Its absolutely gorgeous, exactly what I’m looking for but the rubber band after a couple of uses is already doing that annoying thing where the ends that are glued are separated, would love a hack to replace it. Seems like a waste for such an beautiful piece
