Universal Aluminum Bike Rack for Cars

The lighter the bike, the better.

My street bike isn't the lightest on the market, and I added an electric hub motor to the front wheel which adds to the weight. The carrier installation on my crossbar rack was easy enough, but once I got my bike up there it felt a little unstable. I will compensate with a few additional nylon straps so it feels safe to me, but I will avoid any high-speed travel (which was never my intention anyway). It looks good on the roof of my Kia.

Nice Rack

This roof rack looks a lot nicer than the OEM Mini roof rack and costs less. The videos made installation simple. I feel like the locks could be of a better quality, but overall a good rack for the money.

Please don't throw your money away like I did. You get what you for. After a fair amount frustration and time, finally got it installed on the roof with my bike, when the lock mechanism popped out of the hole and wouldn't go back in. That's ok though because it wouldn't lock anyway. As far as i installation instructions? Good luck. Dark, dull, xeroxed looking photos where you couldn't make out what was being shown. No problem, I'll scan the QR and look it up. Nope. The instruction video on the site were for ski/kayaks.
