My First E-Bike

I did a bunch of research before selecting the Aventon Adventure M as my first E-Bike. Being a recent retiree and having more time now to take my time to enjoy the day, I knew I wanted a bicycle to explore the trails and paths all around me. I spent several weeks visiting different bike shops, talking with multiple bike owner and test riding both regular and electric bikes. I quickly found the range, comfort and added features of E-bikes were what I wanted. As soon as I started searching online, I was of course inundated with many E-bike brands ads. Online reviews were mixed with most, but the reviews for Aventon all stood out. My test rides on the Level 3, Level 4, Ramblas and Adventure 3 clinched the deal that I was going with Aventon (a well established brand with 3 Aventon dealers within 25 miles of my house in case I needed service). I really liked the way the mid drive on the Ramblas worked by helping me with pedaling power Vs. the pushing me forward feeling from the hub drive motors on the Adventure 3/Level 3 & 4 (I preferred the upright riding of these). None of the bike shops near me had the mid-drive Level 4 ADV or Adventure M (AAM) on hand. Fortunately, I found an AAM at a shop during a trip up north and was hooked. The Labor Day sale started the day I got home and I ordered an AAM right away. Great that Aventon gives a Veteran discount too. The bike was delivered in 3 days (nice turnaround). I assembled it in about 2.5 hours taking my time. The next morning I did my first bike path trip (25 miles) it was Awesome!! I ride the bike almost every day now and do longer trail rides 2 to 3 times a week. The App is excellent too. I love my new AAM. Thank you Aventon.

What’s not to like?

It’s been a week from today since I received my Adventure M e-bike, and I am blown away! The A100 mid drive is really powerful and actually really quite. The motor doesn’t hesitate to make it up steep hills on roads and trails. The shocks, shock seat, and fat tires make it great for rough trails as well as roads. The breaks are strong but a little loud out of the box so I asked my friend to grease them and it mostly fixed the problem. The battery life is great and the lights are powerful and the wheel locking feature is nice when I ride to somewhere and need to leave my bike outside. I like how it is throttle compatible even though it is a mid drive motor. I bought a throttle for it and it works better than I thought it would. There is so much features on this bike, and I am very pleased with the bike. Thank you Aventon! God bless you all 🙏!

Best bike I have ever owned. From riding on hard surface to wooded trails, this bike can handle anything and it just a blast to ride.
