I’ve had haflinger clogs in felt and leather quite a few times over the last 20 years or so. They give me the sort of firm foot bed that my sometimes uncomfortable feet need. This recent purchase is great except for one not insignificant issue: sizing. I was replacing a virtually identical pair with these new ones, and sensibly ordered the same size, only to find these a little too big. I have had this issue with sizing in the past, with some 43s being perfect, some 42s just right, and also in both sizes not so good.It’s a shame and undermines confidence in purchasing. I know returns/exchanges are possible, but in this particular instance it would have been exceptionally inconvenient. My old 43s were perfect, straight out of bed and also with socks. The new ones are just about right with thick walking socks.
