As an artist in other mediums..."more soap, more shine" holds true with this kind of work too. Okay to practice within a budget. But eventually getting the higher-quality brushes and silk paper is more in line with the original tradition of how it was done and more lasting too. I haven't tried anything as yet. Still looking at all of the material.

I love this ebook! It's written in clear, easy to understand language while also being chock full of detail. The illustrations are really useful as well. It's also amazing value, because there is so much information packed in. As an English teacher, I'd give you an A star if I was marking it 🤣 I've started making some early sketches, but life has been busy and it will be a while yet before I get to do more than that.
