Chisel adapter Hapstone

I love the R2 sharpener and have a few adapters that work well but this chisel adapter feels like an after thought. Probably the biggest annoyance is there isn't a big enough flat to zero an angle cube. The clamp could use a bit of rubber adhesive to keep chisels locked in place, but that's an easy enough fix. Overall this adapter works fine, I just think it could be improved a bit. I'd give it a four out of five.

This fits some chisels and skiving knives, but not all. Depending on the chisel width, the handle thickness and length, and the angle on the skiving knife, some will not fit. If you could install this on top of the turntable module, it would be much more useful.

I used the chisel adapter to sharpen some vintage chisels a friend got at a garage sale. He said he’s never had a sharper chisel.
