Honeycomb Panel 2.0 for P2/P2S

I like the build quality but there are room for improvements: 1. The honeycomb pattern sits roughly 1mm under the frame so it is not flush. This is noticeable when putting larger objects in the machine 2. I get scorchmarks on the backside of primarily basswood and one possible reason is that the laser beam reflects back from the honeycomb and another possibility is that residue from the wood sticks to the panel and reflects up on the material when the laser beam and air assist is working through the material. This is mostly a concern when batching and cutting in the same places over and over again but it is still there even if the honeycomb is newly cleaned. With this said, I believe this to be a issue of most honeycomb so you have to work around the problem. Overall I am happy with the purchase

I think that it’s a great design that integrates perfectly into the laser permitting the user cut smaller pieces of material without them falling to the bottom of the unit and getting burnet while cutting another piece.

Very good honeycombpanel. Fits exactly in the p2s. Including 4 magnetic placeholders.
